🔥💃🥟 Derde Nieuw-West editie: Queer Bachata Dominicano workshop & Latin Social Dance 🔥💃🥟

Maak je klaar voor een avond Queer Bachata Dominicano! Samen nemen we uitgebreid afscheid van de zomer nu we richting de koudere maanden gaan. Maar terwijl de temperatuur daalt, blijven de dansvloer en het eten heet! 🔥

We steken opnieuw de grenzen over en planten onszelf stevig in de ritmes van Latijns-Amerika. Deze editie duiken we in Bachata Dominicano: speels, ritmisch, energiek en gemaakt om je in beweging te krijgen. Of je nu complete beginner bent of al wat moves in huis hebt: kom leren, dansen en samen plezier maken! 💃🏽🕺🏽

Na de workshop blijft de dansvloer heet, want onze fabuleuze DJ Chantal neemt je mee op reis door een mixsalade van Latijns-Amerikaanse ritmes — salsa, bachata, forró, cumbia, reggaeton… je noemt het, je hoort het!

En omdat je van dansen honger krijgt: de hele avond zijn er heerlijke empanadas van de altijd fabuleuze @latangueriaamsterdam 🥟❤️

Of je nu komt voor de workshop, om je heupen los te gooien op zoete Latijnse ritmes, om iets nieuws te ontdekken, of gewoon om de magie van onze queer familie op te snuiven — deze avond is voor JOU. 🏳️‍🌈

Deze editie is een samenwerking tussen het Queer Latin Social collectief @queer_latin_night_amsterdam en LOLA Lijn Buurtkamer. LOLA Lijn Buurtkamer is een buurtruimte die sociale cohesie en verbinding in Sloterdijk wil bevorderen via verschillende sociale en culturele initiatieven. We zijn non-commercieel en open voor iedereen.

Get ready for a night of Queer Bachata Dominicano! Together, we'll dance summer a proper farewell as we head into the colder months. But while the temperature drops, the dancefloor and the food stay hot! 🔥

We're once again moving across borders and planting ourselves firmly in the rhythms of Latin America. This edition, we're diving into Bachata Dominicano: playful, rhythmic, energetic and made to get you moving. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some moves, come learn, dance and have fun together! 💃🏽🕺🏽

After the workshop, the dancefloor stays hot as our fabulous DJ Chantal takes us on a journey through a mix salad of Latin American rhythms — Salsa, Bachata, Forró, Cumbia, Reggaeton… you name it, you'll hear it!

And because dancing makes us hungry: throughout the night there'll be delicious empanadas by the always fabulous @latangueriaamsterdam 🥟❤️

Whether you're coming for the workshop, to shake your hips to sweet Latin rhythms, to discover something new, or simply to soak up the magic of our queer family — this night is for YOU. 🏳️‍🌈
